2024

We officially started CuetaraCare Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. We put in a pond, built a barn, ran irrigation and electrical to the barn.

2025

We cleared 2 acres of brush, removed over 50 trees, (don't worry we still have tons), fenced in the back two acres for the animals, built 7 large tortoise houses, ran water and electrical to the back of the property for the tortoise and barn animals, installed a solid fence on one part of our property for the animals privacy, made a garden area for growing some of the animal food and started Turtle & Tortoise Town for the small guys.

2026

This year we are expanding Turtle & Tortoise Town, putting in a fence, small pond with a water feature, planting eatable grasses and plants. Also, putting in drainage, rocking our barn road, building some barn roofed shelters to expand the barn overhang, and putting in pavers to the back of the barn gravel.
