CuetaraCare (CARS) is a non-profit group dedicated to Animals through rescue, sanctuary, and education. We rescue, rehabilitate, release, rehome when possible, or provide sanctuary. Currently, we have many different types of animals enjoying their forever home here. We specialize in turtle and tortoise rescue.
Although we just received our non-profit status in 2024, we have been rescuing, fostering, and providing a home for animals for over 50 years. Our love and devotion to animals is one of our greatest qualities.

Mission Statement
CuetaraCare is dedicated to Animals through rescue, sanctuary and education. We rescue both domestic and wild animals. We provide housing, care, medical treatment, and rehabilitation as needed. Then either return animals to the wild, rehome or provide a loving, enriched habitat in our sanctuary. We also bring animals to schools for the enrichment and education of students. We work to spark appreciation, love, and respect for all creatures.
