Foster Kittens at CuetaraCare 🐾

CuetaraCare Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that partners with other animal shelters and rescue organizations by providing loving foster homes for kittens in need.

While one of our primary areas of focus is turtles and tortoises, caring for kittens has also been a special part of our lives for more than 50 years. We love giving foster kittens a safe, nurturing home where they can grow, socialize, play, and prepare for their forever families.

While in our care, CuetaraCare provides the kittens with a loving home, daily hands-on care, socialization, and many of the everyday supplies they need. The shelter or rescue organization the kittens come from remains responsible for their veterinary care and typically provides or covers necessary medical treatment, medications, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services, as well as designated supplies.

Adopting One of Our Foster Kittens

Although the kittens live with us at CuetaraCare, they remain part of the shelter or rescue organization they came from. The official adoption is completed through that organization, and the adoption fee is paid directly to them.

CuetaraCare will help facilitate the adoption process from beginning to end. Because we know each kitten's personality, habits, and needs, we can help prospective adopters get to know them in a comfortable home environment and help make the transition as easy as possible for the kitten, the adopting family, and the shelter or rescue.

Thank you for choosing adoption and for giving a foster kitten the opportunity to become part of a loving forever family.

Want to Support CuetaraCare Too? ❤️

There is never an additional CuetaraCare adoption fee for kittens we are fostering on behalf of another organization. However, if you would like to support the work we do, donations to CuetaraCare Animal Rescue & Sanctuary are always greatly appreciated.

Your generosity helps us continue providing food, supplies, enrichment, comfortable living spaces, and loving care for the animals who depend on us.

Donations directly to CuetaraCare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary can be made here.
